Our story

Opened in October 2016, Resonator is the vision of a group of Norman, OK artists dedicated to promoting and facilitating all forms of creative expression in their community. 

Norman has always had a vibrant scene of artists, but never a consistent venue for this scene to coalesce and flourish. Resonator provides this space and more! In addition to gallery and exhibition space, Resonator features a stage for live music, a fully functioning community printshop, and plenty of common creative space for local artists to spread out and work.

From the start, Resonator has maintained an active schedule of exhibitions, concerts, workshops, performances, movie screenings, dance parties, spoken word events, and more. Through these activities, Resonator has been able to foster creative activity in our own community, and provide a venue to host artists from around the United States and beyond.
