We Live Through Time is a collection of drawings, collages, and prints by Cassie Normandy White and Ryan O’Malley. This phrase is intended to precede the title of each work in order to view them through different lenses; to intertwine contemplations of time from a cosmic, geological or genealogical scale to a moment, or a breath. It alludes to the scope of creative process and the commonalties of our collective lived experience.

Cassie Normandy White is Assistant Professor of Art at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She received her BFA in Printmaking from Texas State University and her MFA from Tulane University. Utilizing print, drawing, and collage, her work expresses curiosity and appreciation for the interconnectedness of the natural world. She has exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions, with work in private and public collections including the US Library of Congress.

Ryan O’Malley is Professor of Art and Graduate Coordinator at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. He received his BFA in Printmaking from the University of South Dakota and his MFA from Louisiana State University. As an artist, educator and member of the Outlaw Printmakers, his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, publications, and collections. His expertise is included in Printmaking: A Complete Guide to Materials and Process, Second Edition, by Fick and Grabowski.
