If you have a kid age 8 - 12 that loves to draw, this workshop will help them realize the potential in the activity they already love to do!

On day one, we’ll start by sketching out ideas for a t-shirt design and helping turn that sketch into a fully-realized t shirt graphic! This will be followed by a session of dying and tie-dying shirts, so that they can fully customize the look they’re going for!

The next day we’ll have their designs ready for them to print onto the shirts they dyed and any other shirts (or fabric, or paper) that they bring in.

Workshop instructors are OU Printmaking Professor Curtis Jones and NewCastle High School Art Teacher Lauren Dansby.

Resonator will provide three t-shirts for each student and all the supplies and equipment needed for drawing and printing— along with snacks and light beverages.
