Help Resonator welcome Dallas power pop duo Teal Stripe.

Two life-long friends made a commitment to play rock music together after a long period of not doing so. Their band is called Teal Stripe, and their first album is called Heavy Metal. Heavy Metal tries to square the circle of combining the guitar heroics of classic rock with a touch of melancholic splendor influenced by a catalog of alternative music from the 1980’s and 90’s. Some songs reach back years, some were finished a mere month before release. Another album is already in progress—do not expect Teal Stripe to remain still for longer than a moment.
